This wine originates from the famous wine area of McLaren Vale, South Australia. It has been made from old vine shiraz grapes which have been picked for the soul purpose of providing the ingredients for a premium quality wine. To ensure quality the grapes were basket pressed by hand and the use of new American Oak has been utilised in the maturation process. The drinker is immediately rewarded with a smooth, complex tasting wine which will futher improve over many years.
