The PATAGAS brand was founded in 1845, but some say 1927. The old factory, in the heart of Havana, is still in good condition. The brand, a Cameroonian Cigar coat grown from Havana seeds, is jointly supervised by Menendez and CIFUENTES, members of Cuba’s famous cigar family. Later, the cigar was made in two places. The difference between Cuban cigars and Dominican cigars is that the former bear the word “Habana”at the bottom of the label, while the latter bear the word “1845”. During World War II, the brand became very popular among cigar aficionados like Ewerling. The cigar was also mentioned by Evelyn Waugh in her little book, brideshead revisited. Caption: this cigar is a complex Havana cigar. It is a small loputu with a 50 ring diameter but only 3 inches (90mm) long. Released at the Havana cigar festival in 2014, it is a short and thick cigar, which is very similar to the D4 and D5 of patgas. The palate is a traditional patgas flavor, full of coffee, cedar, vanilla, strong tobacco and pepper. Suitable for short-term enjoyment and winter smoking. The cigar looks very well made, the three-layer eggplant is very meticulous, the suction is smooth, and the soot is very compact. The first third is rich in pepper, followed by strong tobacco, coffee, cocoa and some leather. Entering the middle section, the flavor of pepper becomes weaker, and the flavor of dry wood and coffee becomes heavier. Entering the tail section, the smoke becomes stronger and stronger.
