The history of Gonzalez Byass begins in 1835, five generations of the Gonzalez family have devoted their lives to wine; in vineyards and wineries in Spain’s six major wine-producing regions. Today, the company sells its products in more than 100 countries around the world and has offices in Spain, England, Mexico, the USA and China. Gonzalez Byass has won the “Winemaker of the year” and “Spanish wine producer of the year” awards, the top prizes in the International Wine & Spirits Competition. The Company has also been recently recognized as the No.1 winery in Spain and as Nº 34 in the global ranking by the WAWWJ (World Association for Wines & Spirits Writers and Journalists).
