On the 18^th of January, from Ningxia Forestry Bureau, the reporter learns that Ningxia Autonomous Region will focus on wine industry development in 2013, by introducing good quality vinicultural nursery vines which covers 6,000-mu new area; meanwhile, the region also will foster 10 wine producers with famed brand name.

In 2013, Ningxia plans to construct the world grape industry pilot site and Helanshan East Foothill International Wine Museum. It will host the second Helanshan East Foothill Wine Festival and foster 10 wine producers with famed brand name. It will also launch the programe of "Year of Grape Nursery Quality Management, introduce good quality viniculture grape nursery and send up potency dimenion of science extension.

In 2012, Ningxia increases economic forest 402,000 mu, among which 68,000 mu are newly increased vine forest. By now, the total area of vine planting in the region reaches to 510,000 mu. There are 52 wine processors in the region, producing 179,000 tons of wine annually.
