Pegasus Bay is owned and operated by the Donaldson Family producing a range of estate grown wines that reflect the unique regional and varietal characters of the Waipara Valley. Planted in the mid 80’s the Vineyard produces wines of concentration and intensity. Free draining alluvial soils providing naturally prolonged vine vigour as well as a reduced growing season are key attributes to the site. We believe in natural methods from vine to bottle and are members of the NZ Wine Growers’ Sustainable viticulture program.
