Patrice BORT是朗格多克专门从事葡萄园业务家族的第六代。自从1801年，他们的祖先就在西班牙瓦伦西亚的一家葡萄园工作。1845年他们来到法国，开始经营邻近Pomerol 产区的一个5公顷老葡萄树的小葡萄园。两代后，随着两次婚姻和全家的努力，葡萄园的面积扩展到20公顷。1907年，可怕的葡萄树疾病（Phyloxera）导致80％的葡萄树枯死。之后经过另外两代人的艰苦劳动，补植了能够抵御这种疾病的葡萄树。自那时以来，我们从来没有减少过葡萄园的面积。今天BORT家族在朗格多克拥有超过400公顷葡萄园，250多万棵树, 包括5个庄园，以及一家装瓶厂。目前BORT家族创立的Groupe TWL France 的业务已经扩展到5大洲47个国家，近几年年销量超过3000万瓶。
Patrice BORT is the sixth generation from family in charge of vineyards in Languedoc. Their ancestors came to France from Spain (Valencia, they worked as vineyard workers from 1801, in 1845, they started exploiting a small vineyard near to Pomerol with 5 Hectares old grape trees with very small production. 2 generations later, with 2 weddings and hard work, the vineyards was developed at 20 Hectares. In 1907 due to terrible wine trees illness (Phyloxera), 80% of the wine trees die. Another 2 generation later of hard labor, the family replanted all the vineyards that can resist well to this illness. Since that time our domaines never decrease and totalize today more than 400 Hectares and more than 2.5 million trees for 5 wineries and one bottling factory in Languedoc . Now TWL set by BORT family develop business in 47 countries and 5 continents with more than 30 million bottles per year in recently years.
