PRAHOVA VALLEY- RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2008

ORIGIN 

Wine region DEALU MARE – subregion Muntenia Hills 

The hills with heights situated between 80 and 450 metres, furrowed by valleys in the “shape of gramophone where the sun nestles, without any waste its beneficial warmth”. The region is characterised by the highest homogeneity of environmental features.  The lithologic substratum is made of gravel, sand and clay with a layer of loess. 

The climate is continental, with average annual sunlight of 2200 hours, average annual temperature between 9,5°-10,5°C, and the average rain-fall of 500-600 mm.

GRAPE VARIETY

100% Cabernet Sauvignon

VINIFICATION

There took place fermentation at the controlled temperature of 24-25°C and skin maceration for 7-10 days in stainless steel tanks. The wine was then aged in Romanian oak barrels for 6 months. 

COLOR

Red ruby 

TASTING NOTES

Red ruby in colour. On the palate the wine displays aromas of black cherries, prunes and also notes of cedar or cigars. The finish is firm, this allowing ageing for some years.

ACCOMPANIMENT

Perfect with roast turkey or goose, grilled meat, but also lamb stew. Serving temperature 16-18°C.

葡萄酒地区——徳亚卢马尔——蒙特尼亚山丘分区（梦丹尼丘陵）

丘陵高度80至450米，镶嵌于山谷中形成“日照处形成留声机形状，丝毫不浪费其温暖的优势”该地区被赋予同质性最高的特点。岩性底层是由砾石，沙质土，粘土与黄土层组成。

气候属大陆性气候，平均常年日照2200小时，年平均温度9.5至10.5摄氏度，平均降雨量500至600毫米。

葡萄品种：

100%赤霞珠葡萄

收获期：

发酵温度控制在24至25摄氏度，并置于不锈钢容器泡软7至10天。然后将葡萄酒置于罗马尼亚橡木桶熟化6个月。

颜色：

洁白无暇，浑然一体的大红色的红宝石色。

品酒笔记：

呈红宝石色。此款酒口感富有黑莓，西梅干还有雪松或雪茄味。回味强烈，适合继续熟化若干年。

葡萄酒搭配：

适合搭配烤火鸡或烤鹅，烤肉和炖羔羊肉。饮用温度16至18度。
